Notes: So, some people may remember my "One World" story that I posted... a while ago. I originally wrote that story for my fiction writing class, but it pretty much got torn apart in workshop. Thus, for my final portfolio for the class, I had to rewrite the story. I basically scrapped the whole actual story, took the concept of a "found-family," and went from there. I kept... maybe one or two paragraphs, so if you see something familiar, it's probably that. Other than that, it's pretty much a whole new story. So, try it out! ^_^
Character Notes: Because of the AU aspect, I did end up changing a couple names. It should be pretty obvious who's who, though. XD
Summary: They're all alone in their own way, until they find each other.

Summary: I’d heard of children that seemed older than their years, of old souls in young bodies. I’d never really comprehended what those phrases meant, though. At least, I never understood until Changmin came into our lives.
Notes: Sooo... yeah. This was inspired by a song. I heard the lyrics "a young boy with old eyes" and immediately got a picture of this Min in my head. Let me know what'cha think. Seriously, con-crit the heck out of it. 'Cause I just turned this in for my Advanced Fiction Writing Class (with some name changes), and my workshop's on Monday so I'd like to be prepared. ^^

( Some people will rather melodramatically claim that they’ll never forget the day when something happened to change their life, that the air felt different or something just seemed off. )

Okay, so, my second short story is due in... oh, about two weeks for class. And I have this idea that I've been working on, but I wanted to gather some opinions on whether or not y'all think it's good enough to turn in as an assignment. Now, I've started this with the DBSK boys in mind, their names in there and everything, but I'll probably end up changing those to English names if/when I turn it in. Just 'cause I've noticed that every story I've turned in with Korean characters, people always get caught up by the names.

Keep in mind when you're reading and forming your opinion that this will be turned in for a 400- (senior) level Advanced Fiction Writing course. Basically, the last 400-level course I need to finally graduate from university. So, based on that, try to judge as separate from the fandom if at all possible. If not, just give me your basic opinion and whether you think it's a storyline/character voice that you'd be interested in reading more of. This is only the first couple pages (like 2 and a half handwritten), so it's nowhere near complete. I just don't want to waste any extra time on it if people don't think it's working. Thanks, all!!
