Title: Found
Pairings: JaeMin, YooSu
Rating: PG-13ish
Notes: Just as short as the other chaps. *shrugs* Oh, and, because I think we all realize I'm quite influenced by music: Rachael Yamagata's Under My Skin. 'Cause it just kinda seems to fit Minnie right now.
Summary: Sequel to Possession. Falling can mean so many things: falling into his arms, falling in love, falling out, falling to pieces, falling apart...
Previous: Possession, Bonus Scenes, Falling: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Poetry, Part 6Chapter 7: Found You follow the other four into the apartment almost blindly. You've had trouble focusing on pretty much anything since you realized Min was missing. Missing. Possibly gone forever this time. You don't want to believe it, but you don't know what else to think.
Collapsing onto the couch, you stare at the blank television screen and wonder how you can possibly process everything going on right now. Yoochun sits down next to you, rests his head on your shoulder. Junsu wanders back to his bedroom but quickly re-enters the living room, a hand over his mouth.
"Su? What's wrong?" He doesn't answer Chunnie's question, simply points toward the other room. You feel your brow furrow as you follow Yoochun in to investigate. Yoochun enters the room first, followed by widened eyes and a quiet gasp. You step past him, and your legs go weak at the sight.
Min is there, lying face-down on the bed and perfectly asleep. You stumble to the side of his bed and fall to your knees. From this angle, you can make out the dried tear-tracks on his cheeks. You let out a shuddering breath as you rest your forehead against the bed. One hand reaches out to brush his arm, checking to be sure he's real.
Feeling the bed shift, you look up as Min pulls in to lay on his left side. Watch as he brings his knees up so that he's almost curling in on himself. The position he always manages to move into when he's having the worst of nightmares. He cringes away from something only in his head and clenches his jaw. You reach up to smooth the lines on his forehead, hope the action also soothes away the bad dreams.
Even with everything that's happened, you can't help but love him. You can't make yourself get angry at him. You realize you should probably be upset that he made you all worry needlessly, but you can't even manage that. He's here, and he's safe. Obviously not entirely okay, something quite apparently so wrong, but at least he's right where he belongs.
You hear Junsu pull Yunho into the room. You hear a murmured discussion. You hear the hushed, rustling movement as all three leave again. Not really taking any notice of them, you simply continue sifting Min's hair through your fingers.
Something isn't right, you think. You were sure, after he broke up with you then walked out, that he simply couldn't find it in himself to love you anymore. Now, though… Something else is going on. You try to come up with any kind of explanation for his behavior, but nothing really adds up to anything that makes sense.
He whimpers in his sleep as fresh tears carve a trail down his face. And you no longer accept that he just changed his mind. Because if that's all it was, he wouldn't be missing practices or crying in his sleep. You promise yourself, and him, that you won't give in or give up on him. He's your baby, your love. Your heart. Forever.

However, I'm worried about what the other three are planning. :/
Hah! Second!
Yay, second! ^__^
I'm so glad Jaejoong has figured out that it's something more than what it appears to be wrong with them.
You promise yourself, and him, that you won't give in or give up on him. He's your baby, your love. Your heart. Forever. *sigh* That makes me melt.
Jae is definitely going to be Min's support system for a while, whether Minnie likes it or not.
*gathers up puddle-you* Glad you liked it!
D: I hope Jae manages to patch up poor Min. Jaejoong HWAITING! ♥
Jae is definitely going to do his best. He's pretty determined now. ^_^
Jaejoong is no longer oblivious now, which is definitely a good thing.
I still remember how he was at the start of Possession
Especially seeing as Changmin needs his support and love to help figure things out for himself.
You know the exact way to write in such a way that leaves me feeling broken, but hopeful that one day everything will be whole once again.
I'm sorry to leave you feeling broken... But, yes, hold onto that hope. I'm not promising anything, but I am trying my best. *nods*
but happy tears of course. ^____^
